Wow what an amazing event. Held 15-16 April 2019 at Immanuel College, ACHPER hosted 2 days of enriching HPE, at our flagship event that attracted over 200 delegates, 40 presenters, 5 partners and 10 trade exhibitors. The conference was such a successful event, that was professionally stimulating and supportive for those who work in education and community settings. Feedback gained, outlines 100% satisfaction from the event, with so many positive comments and reflections outlining the true importance of a quality professional learning activity.

Special thanks to our wonderful keynote presenters Nicky Sloss, Tim Olds and Martin Westwell and those involved in the Physical Literacy Presentation: Rick Baldock, Pierre Comis, Katie Liebelt and Shane Pill. the program offered 4 innovative keynote presentations, invited presenters from interstate and offered 50 workshop sessions; including ever popular active sessions, Sport, Physical Education, Physical, Activity, Wellbeing, Dance and also sessions on the new Stage 1 course. 100% satisfaction from last 10 previous conferences.

A special thank you to Minister for Education, John Gardner MP, who opened day 2 of the Conference and thanked all in attendance for their dedicated efforts delivering Health and PE, Sport and Wellbeing within schools and their local communities. ACHPER look forward to continuing to work with the Minister, his staff and the Education Department to raise the profit of Health and Physical Education in South Australian Schools.
