SACPSSA 2019 Activities
ACHPER SA are delighted to have a partnership with SACPSSA to coordinate quality professional learning for Catholic educators with an interest in health & physical education.
Student Leadership Program:
The Student Leadership Program aims to create opportunities for senior primary students and their teachers to work together in their own school context to enhance the physical activity, physical education or out of hours sports programs in their schools. The students and teachers attend an initial workshop day where the program focuses on the meaning of effective leadership and strategies to implement student leadership at their own site. Later in the year, students produce a short video which demonstrates and celebrates how they have used their leadership skills to improve the physical literacy and outcomes in their school. What follows is a number of examples to enjoy, please follow to the secure login page to view. Thanks to all students and teachers for these amazing recollections.
