Year 12 PE Teachers Seminar
This seminar was a new event in 2012 that ACHPER (SA) identified as a current need for PE teachers professional learning, particularly with new PE teachers teaching Year 12.
The seminar was held on Monday 5th March 2012, 4.15pm - 6.15pm (week 6) at Concordia College, Winchester Street, Highgate.
The two hour seminar included the following topics:
-Effective Task Design
-Breaking down previous exam questions
-Scaffolding theory work-how to teach difficult and key concepts for effective learning
-Using the performance standards in practical assessments
-Using information from the assessment report in practical to improve outcomes at practical moderations
