A seminar for teachers in Primary and Secondary school settings

Where do you begin when leading a team? Leading a team is sometimes daunting and always a challenge. This seminar will investigate essential elements of team building including:

  • How to begin the year
  • Defining your purpose
  • Bringing staff together
  • Introducing and driving new agendas and priorities
  • Building momentum
  • Action planning and
  • Evaluation

Another element for successful leadership is caring for the people you lead. This seminar will also explore the Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility (TPSR) in Physical Activity model and in particular how to best support students to lead others while displaying care and compassion, sensitivity and responsiveness that supports the well-being of others.

Cancellation Policy: Notice of cancellation received more than 48 hours before the event will incur a standard $50 administration processing fee, any registration fees received in addition to this amount will be refunded. For cancellation notice received less than 48 hours before the event, registration fees unfortunately cannot be refunded.
