Now that you have been teaching for two to three terms we thought that it was a good time to take a deep breath and review the year so far.

Come and spend half a day with us and hear how your colleagues have gone planning, teaching, assessing and reporting when using the Australian Curriculum: HPE in their school. We’ll talk with you about what has worked well, what hasn’t and where you can go next. We’re interested to hear about your work and especially how you’ve addressed issues such as behaviour management, report writing, parent interviews, programming and sequencing learning.

At this workshop we’ll provide time for you to debrief and then review your plans for the rest of the year. This will also be a great opportunity for you to identify some great support materials and pedagogical approaches to inform your teaching of Health and Physical Education.

This workshop will support graduate teachers in the initial years of teaching HPE and offer practical support and innovative strategies including the provision of a mentor to support you.

We invite you to join us for this workshop and become part of our professional learning community to assist you as you begin your career.

Previous seminars have booked out quickly, so enrol early to avoid disappointment.

Facilitated by: Rick Baldock, ACHPER (SA)

Should you wish to access Rick’s services for one on one or small group support in the afternoon we can cater for limited numbers. Just talk with our friendly ACHPER (SA) staff and they can book you in to a personally negotiated program for the afternoon.
