Learning areas and subjects such as literacy & Numeracy and STEM seem to have an array of measurement tools that they can use to assess student progress.
What assessment tools can we use in HPE to monitor and track growth across a band?
What else can we use and how do we develop assessment tasks that are rich and meaningful to the student and at the same time provide us with data to inform our judgement about student progress.
Increasingly educators are being asked to consider:
- How we can measure growth in PE?
- What measures could we use?
- What assessment tools/tasks?
- What indicators could we look for?
- How can we better communicate this to students and parents so we are transparent?
- What whole school data can and should we collect?
If you are looking for answers to these questions then spend a day with us so we can begin to develop useful approaches, strategies and tools that you will be able to implement when you return to school.
