The 2017 ACHPER South Australian Health & Physical Education Conference was held in Adelaide on 27 - 28 April 2017 at Immanuel College. The ACHPER (SA) HPE Conference showcased a range of sessions including workshops with a wellbeing focus, sessions for classroom teachers and a range of theory and practical sessions for all bands of learning. There was also a focus on assessment as well as a broad range of new and innovative sessions. ACHPER (SA) is proud to report 100% delegate satisfaction from the last 5 years of conferences. The program provided a range of sessions that are of importance to Health Education, Physical Education, Dance, Sport, Wellbeing educators as well as classroom teachers, recreation, sport and health professionals, sport coaches and school counsellors.

2016 ACHPER (SA) Health & PE Conference

The 2016 ACHPER (SA) Health & Physical Education Conference was held at Prince Alfred College on 18-19 April. The engaging conference offered a range of innovative sessions, best practice strategies and workshops to effectively engage students in Health & Physical Education including, Game sense based approach to teaching various sports including touch football, basketball, handball, soccer and net and wall games, Australian Curriculum updates to implement in 2016, Updates in Health and Wellbeing, Technology in PE, Assessment in PE and many more practical updates, with a range of sessions from international, national and local presenters. The conference was attended by 220 delegates with 60 sessions is one of the largest professional learning opportunities of its kind in South Australia.

2015 ACHPER (SA) Health & PE Conference

In 2015 the ACHPER (SA) Health & PE Conference was combined with the 29th ACHPER International Conference which was held on 13 - 15 April 2015 at Prince Alfred College.

We were excited to be able to present a broader, more diverse and larger event for our local South Australians. It was a great opportunity to hear from interstate, overseas presenters, as well as showcase our local expertise and passion.

                                                              

2014 ACHPER (SA) Health & PE Conference

The ACHPER South Australian Health & Physical Education Conference was held in Adelaide on 23 - 24 April 2014. This conference attracted 240 delegates and with 60 sessions is one of the largest professional learning opportunities of its kind in South Australia. The program provided a range of sessions that are of importance to Health, Physical Education, Dance, Sport educators; as well as classroom teachers, recreation, sport and health professionals and sport coaches.
