ACHPER Matters publications

This quality publication developed for South Australian members outlines resources, information, practical support and updates on important projects and activities in the South Australian Physical Activity and Health Community.

The publication is developed twice a year and features articles and information on ACHPER focus areas.

The ACHPERTISER

The ACHPERTISER is a South Australian based publication that outlines a range of useful information. The quarterly newsletter updates ACHPER activities and useful resources, a range of useful tools to support members as professionals.

Discounts on Professional Development Activities

ACHPER members receive up to 50% all ACHPER (SA) professional development activities, a great saving.

These activities include State Conferences, Seminars, regular Training and Development Activities. Other discounts are also received for ACHPER members at ACHPER functions-including the Physical education Week Dinner and Conference Dinners.

Access to consultants in the professional community

Through ACHPER SA member network individuals and organizations can be placed in contact with members of the professional community who can act as critical friends in meeting the ongoing professional needs of individuals and organizations.

Receive either of ACHPER's 2 national publications

Either the Healthy Lifestyles Journal-covering the areas of interest, topical issues, research, book reviews and reports on significant ACHPER events and projects or the Active and Healthy Magazine- a more informal format for physical educators, health educators, fitness leaders, recreational professionals and generalist teachers.

Healthy Lifestyle Bookshop and SA based resource discounts

10% discounts on all personal purchases and 5% for purchases by schools with an ACHPER member on staff.

Networking Opportunities

ACHPER (SA) provides various opportunities to discuss and share ideas and valuable information to support individuals.

Opportunities are provided in focus groups throughout the year. This support network is there in support of individuals. Opportunities will soon be developed for chat rooms and discussions on an interactive website.
