Physical Education Week
Physical Education Week ~ 11 -15 November 2019
Join the rest of South Australia and celebrate Physical Education Week in your school. We are seeking all schools to simply arrange an activity within your own school community, register for free with us and join in flying the flag for HPE and why our learning area is the most important! Alternatively, you can join us for a 'come and try' day show-casing different sports. More details will be released soon, register your interest by email to email@example.com
Physical Education Week promotes the importance of Health & PE in the Australian Curriculum, and highlights the importance of Health & PE to the learning and development of children and young people. All students have a right to receive quality physical education teaching and learning programs.
2019 Physical Education Week awards night and celebration on Friday 8 November 2019
The ACHPER (SA) Awards night and celebration is Friday 8 November. Nominate a colleague for an award, get a table together and come along and celebrate at our night of nights. It's a great event and a chance to recognise those teachers, coaches and volunteers involved in the many great things that HPE develop. Special sporting guest speakers are always a highlight of the evening - a night not to be missed.
PE Week was held 12-16 November in 2018

Metro 'Come and Try' Days
A great idea for an active school excursion in Term 4 is attending one of the ‘Come and Try’ Days which will all be held again in 2019 in Week 5. Registration will open in term 3.
These events are only made possible through the support of our sponsors and supporters. We value our key alliances, and without these partnerships, ACHPER (SA) could not dream and run this event annually! Special thanks to our ACHPER (SA) partners - Credit Union SA, Footsteps Dance Company, TriSkills Australia and IDM Sports. Also thanks to our PE Week partners the South Australian Cricket Association and Mt Lofty Spring Water
