2014 is set to attract over 60,000 participants across SA to celebrate the importance of active and healthy living in the lives of SA children, parents and local school communities. Schools are encouraged to coordinate activities in their own school to raise the profile of Physical Education Week. This week is FREE for schools!

The 2014 Physical Education Week Booklet has been released! Click here to download your copy.
This booklet includes a range of valuable ideas, resources and activities to assist your school's Health and PE/Physical Activity program. It also offers specific strategies and opportunities to embrace this years theme of ‘Connecting Schools and Communities'.

Metropolitan Come and Try Days - Registration now open!
The very popular Metro Come and Try Days are a great opportunity for active excursions and will again be offered to schools during the week. The week will offer come and try days specific for early years, middle years and primary years. Registration for these days has now closed. To register your interest in attending 2015 come and try days please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Those schools who have registered their interest in 2014 come and try days will be contacted this week.
- Get Court Netball Carnival - please complete the registration form and return to the details provided.
You will receive written confirmation of registration acceptance by the end of Week 2, Term 4. If you do not receive confirmation from the ACHPER (SA) office, please contact us to confirm involvement.
IDM Sports Physical Education Week Dinner 2014 - Friday, 14 November
The popular Physical Education Week Dinner will be another highlight this year. Lock in Friday, 14 November, Adelaide Pavilion on your calendar, or contact the ACHPER (SA) office to reserve your place. This dinner will highlight the importance of Physical Education Week and will feature guest speakers, entertainment and provides an opportunity to present a number of School / Early Childhood, Educator and Volunteer Physical Education Week awards. ACHPER's night of nights - a great way to celebrate!
